Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Oven or Air Fryer

Ingredients

Salmon Bites

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skin removed, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or tamari for gluten-free
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish

  • green onions chopped
  • sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cut the salmon into bite-sized cubes and pat dry with a paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Toss the salmon bites in the marinade and let them sit for at least 15-20 minutes for better flavor absorption.
  • Arrange the salmon bites on a lined baking sheet (or in an air fryer basket) in a single layer.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes (or air fry for 8-10 minutes), flipping halfway through, until the salmon is golden and cooked through.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For a crispier texture, broil the salmon for 1-2 minutes at the end. These bites can be served over rice, in tacos, or as a salad topping!
